The ObjectiveDAC (ODAC) is a digital to analog convertor designed by NwAvGuy and Yoyodyne Consulting, which achieves benchmark performance competitive with reference grade digital-to-analog converters. Full benchmarks can be found at NwAvGuy's O2 Release Article.
The Standalone ODAC is ready to use in its own aluminum case:

Objective2 owners can use the Standalone ODAC without modifying their existing amp (no battery removal)
ODAC is designed with a 3.5mm line level output jack, common to portable headphone amplifiers. No performance loss occurs with RCA input devices using a 3.5mm-to-RCA Cable. As with any DAC, an amplifier is required!
Due to popular request, we now offer multiple editions of the Standalone ODAC:
Standard Output - Single 3.5mm output jack, as pictured. Silver or black endplates. 49mm case length for orders after July 27.
RCA Output - RCA output jacks at rear, 3.5mm output and USB jack at front. Black endplates. 95mm case length. Note: The ODAC supports only 1 output; do not use 3.5mm and RCA jacks simultaneously.
